Abstract:
In order to improve the dyeing performance of polyester fabrics, polyester plain fabrics and polyester taffeta fabrics were modified by alkali reduction treatment. The effects of NaOH dosage, alkali treatment temperature and time on polyester fabric were investigated by orthogonal test method with the reduction rate, fabric warp direction and weft fracture strength as indicators. The results show that the optimal alkali reduction modification process is NaOH 200%(owf), temperature 70 ℃, time 90 min. Observed by scanning electron microscopy, obvious dents appeared on the surface of the fabric after the optimal modification process. The modified fabric was dyed with weak acid red RN dyeing solution, and the dyeing performance is obviously improved. When the dyeing is applied for 60 min, the dyeing on the fabric is basically saturated. At this time, the dyeing rates of polyester plain fabrics and polyester taffeta fabrics increased by 10.13% and 11.93%, respectively.
